The boys are all working very hard as Coach Anthony and the rest of the coaching staff put them through their paces. I don't know if actual improvements are being made by some of the lads or if the rust from a summer of not skating is just wearing off but one thing is sure, there is noticable improvement out on the ice.
This weekend sees the team playing its first game of the year and as the count down progresses towards that first game of the season, the time is right for building team spirit. Anticipating this, Coach Anthony presented the boys with a series of team names and logos back on the very first day of practice. Each boy was instructed to select his first and second choice and to tell the Coach his preferences.
Now that the votes have been tallied it is time for us as parents to actively support..........
